Local Leaders Gather For 2020 Business Breakfast

To Our Oakland Business Community,

Thank you for attending our second annual Business Breakfast earlier this week at the beautiful Lake Chalet. As we heard from our speakers, investments from Oakland’s business community not only help our parks and youth programs thrive, but also hold the potential to change lives.

Let’s start a conversation about getting your organization involved. Get in touch and let me know how your team wants to work with the Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation moving forward:

  • Employee Volunteer Days in Oakland Parks;
  • Sponsorship of Foundation Programs and Events;
  • Corporate Employee or Donor Match Programs;
  • Youth Scholarships or In-Kind Donations for Oakland Camp, Swim Lesson and After School Programs; or,
  • Underwriting Capital Projects such as Sports Fields, Playgrounds, Park Facilities, Athletic Fields and Swimming Pools.
  • Once we have your response, we’ll explore how you can contribute to Oakland’s parks and youth programs in meaningful ways that help you raise your visibility in the community and strengthen your business relationships.

Here’s one last easy way to get started. Let the Foundation organize your summer employee volunteer day! Pledge $2,500 today and we will plan an afternoon of team building and community impact in an Oakland park for you and your employees. Simply contact me and we’ll schedule a date together.

Thank you for your partnership and community leadership

Best,

Ken Lupoff
Executive Director
