Barry Weiss Scholarship Fund
This is an unrestricted, year-round scholarship fund that helps children across Oakland attend the many after school programs, school break camps and enrichment classes offered by Oakland Parks, Recreation and Youth Development. Named for former Foundation President Barry Weiss, whose kindness, warmth and spirit will be missed by everyone at the Foundation and the communities he selflessly served for decades.

You will receive a donation receipt as your official record for tax purposes and regular updates about how your gift helps Oakland’s parks and recreation system.
