Join us and register today for an Oakland Estuary Clean Up on Saturday, September 17, from 9:30AM to 1:00PM! For a second consecutive year, we are proud to partner with I Heart Oakland-Alameda Estuary to celebrate Creek To Bay Day!
The Oakland Estuary is home to marine animals, residents and a thriving watersport community. This stretch of water is hit hard by urban trash pollution and illegal dumping. Removing garbage from the shores of the Oakland Estuary protects our water, wildlife and community!
Meet us at the Jack London Aquatic Center (115 Embarcadero) at 9:30AM on Saturday, September 17th. You can clean up the land on foot or work the beaches and shoreline via kayak, boat and stand-up paddle board. Please wear sturdy shoes; all other supplies will be provided.
This event is hosted by I Heart Oakland-Alameda Estuary, Mary Spicer and the City of Oakland with support from California Canoe and Kayak, East Bay Rowing Club and the Oakland Parks and Recreation Foundation.
Hope to see you there! Learn more and register here »
Warmly,
Team OPRF
