Northhills Landscape Committee
| Who We Are |
| Founded by a small group of Firestorm survivors in 1991, the North Hills
Landscape Committee has created several community gardens in the Highway 13/24
corridor: The Firestorm Memorial Garden at the foot of Hiller Drive and Highway
13; the Frank Ogawa Garden at the North Oakland Sports Field, and the new
Gateway Emergency Preparedness Exhibit Center near the Caldecott Tunnel. It also
supports the development of school gardens at several Oakland public schools. |
